From the city, transfer to Civitavecchia, the main port that serves Rome, and board Royal Clipper. Enjoy a cocktail or two as the ship sets sail along the coast of Italy.

Ponza, Italy

Day 3 -
Royal Clipper Cruise - Capri, Italy

Day 4 -
Taormina, Sicily

Impressive ancient architecture is the order of the day today as the Royal Clipper cruise docks in Taormina. Visit the magnificent 13th century Cathedral of St Nicola and explore the amazingly well preserved Greek Theatre. Two sandy beaches entice sun worshipers, and the intimidating Mount Etna volcano looms in the distance.

Day 5 -
At Sea

As the Royal Clipper cruise rounds the southern tip of Italy, you can spend the day relaxing on board and making use of the ship’s facilities. Day 6 -
Corfu, Greece

Today the Royal Clipper cruise docks at the pretty green island of Corfu. Seek out one of the secluded beaches and bathe in the calm turquoise waters, or discover sleepy fishing villages and try out the delectable Greek cuisine in a traditional taverna. Alternatively, head to the Venetian influenced Corfu Town and explore one of Greece’s most interesting cities.

Day 7 -
Kotor, Montenegro

As the Royal Clipper cruise approaches Kotor, admire the spectacular scenery as you sail along the impressive Boka Fjord. Arriving in the city, soak up the history and culture of the old walled port with its red roofs gleaming brightly in the sunshine. The city is extremely picturesque and it is easy to see the Venetian influence in its architecture.

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Dubrovnik is a real highlight of the Royal Clipper cruise. You can also admire the city’s incredible beauty up close by taking a leisurely two hour walk around the medieval walls that surround the Old Town.

Korcula, Croatia

Today the Royal Clipper cruise takes you to one of Croatia’s hidden gems, the picturesque town of Korcula. Stroll along the waterfront and admire the views from one of the seafront bars.

Hvar, Croatia

The island of Hvar is fast becoming a hotspot for young people seeking buzzing nightlife, but there are plenty of things to do during the day too. Hire a moped and take a ride around the island, or go on a kayaking adventure to nearby islands. The medieval town has a wealth of bars and shops, and the marble square Trg Sveti Stjepana is well worth a visit.

Day 11 -
Piran, Slovenia

As the Royal Clipper cruise arrives in Piran you will see the impressive Church of Saint George standing atop the hill, dominating the town below. Piran is situated in the beautiful Gulf of Piran in the Adriatic Sea, and has some wonderful medieval architecture to explore. You will see that a large proportion of the city walls still exist from various stages in history, and the main square is the ideal place for relaxing.
